Today the drive leads to Château Poséidon in quiet simplicity. But great estates have an arrival — a moment that signals something extraordinary lies ahead.
We are planting 32 Acer freemanii 'Autumn Blaze' maples at an exceptional 20–25 cm trunk girth — far larger than the standard nursery size. We made this choice deliberately: rather than waiting a decade for saplings to make their presence felt, these trees will transform the driveway from day one, with full canopies and immediate visual impact.
Come October, the canopy becomes a corridor of flame-red and gold. After the new gates, this is the second great "wow" of the château's transformation — and it will stand for centuries.

The maple leaf is Canada's symbol and Damien's heritage. Planting these trees embeds our roots permanently into French soil. Long after we are gone, the alley will tell that story.
Before she passed, we promised touches of red throughout the château — always. The autumn blaze of these maples is the most beautiful fulfilment of that promise. She will be here, every October.
A tree is not a donation — it is a living monument. It breathes, grows, shelters, and endures. This is a one-time, forever gift to the château.
We are designing the estate for every season — cherry blossoms in spring, maples in autumn. The château will never have an off month.
Gold trees are adopted — hover to see the donor's name. Green trees are available. Updated live every time a new tree is adopted.
Every donor receives a handsome plaque permanently affixed to their tree — bearing their name, tree number, and a personal quote of their choosing. A permanent part of Château Poséidon's history.
